Each student thanked the club for its $1,000 scholarship. Betty completed her core classes and is set for the Reinhardt nursing program. Rachel will graduate in Dec. with a Computer Information Systems degree. Dr. Newcombe thanked the club for its support and also updated the club on the new Aviation Academy that will be housed at the Paulding Airport.
Paulding Rotary teamed up with CAYA (Come As You Are Reconciliation Ministries) and Get Paulding Reading to pack lunches and deliver over 470 books to Paulding County kids as part of the 2022 Summer Reading program.
While we were at McKenna Farms today to present new cushioning mats for their pediatric therapy rooms, we had the chance to deliver a special gift that we hope will enable them to accomplish even more good works. McKenna Farms makes a positive difference in our community and so does the Rotary Club of Paulding County.
