The Paulding County Rotary Club welcomed the GRSP student at the first September meeting. Magno Giovanni Gabriel, an exchange student from Brazil who is currently attending West Georgia University. Introduced by club president Ford Thigpen and member Brian Headrick, the Paulding Rotary is one of three local Georgia Rotary Clubs sponsoring him in the Georgia Rotary Student Program. Mr. Gabriel is pursuing a degree in chemical engineering.
As guest speaker, Mr. Gabriel explained to the Rotary Club many interesting things about Brazil. With pictures, he illustrated much of the country's beauty, organization, and its community; including a bit about his family and personal life there. Magno is a member of a large family and is active in church, school and his local Rotary Club of which he is a member.
